Crafted from solid teak, the Dune sun lounger is naturally durable and well suited to outdoor living, developing character over time as the timber weathers. Care Instructions

Natural ageing

Teak begins with a warm golden-brown tone and will gradually develop a soft silver-grey patina when exposed to sun, rain and humidity. This is a natural and beautiful process, and the timing will vary depending on your environment.

Early changes

In the first weeks or months, you may notice oil marks, water spots or uneven colour. This is normal as the timber settles and its natural oils wash out. To help create a more even finish, gently clean with warm water and mild soap, then allow to dry in the sun.

Maintaining colour

If you prefer to keep the original golden colour, clean the furniture on arrival and apply a teak protector or sealer. Apply evenly with a cloth and allow to dry fully. Reapply once or twice a year depending on climate.

Everyday care

• Wipe spills promptly with a soft cloth and mild soapy water
• Avoid harsh or acidic substances (vinegar, wine, citrus, cola, oils)
• Do not allow water to pool or sit on the surface

Seasonal care

• Reapply sealant regularly for continued protection
• Use a quality cover during winter months
• In extreme cold, move furniture indoors where possible
• Avoid prolonged exposure to intense direct sunlight
